MSYSA Soccer Spotlight: U19 Saline Impact
Congratulations to the U19 Saline Impact for winning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month award for October 2008! The team is composed of the club’s best high school players, which range in age from 14-17. Despite their young age, they play in the U19 division of the Michigan State Premier Soccer program. To get ready for their season, the team played in three consecutive tournaments in August. They finished first and second at the Dearborn Invitational and Michigan Challenge Cup respectively, and they barely missed making the finals at PowerAde Invitational. With players playing up two and three age groups, the Impact are performing exceptionally well. They have their sights set on a Premier League title and also will be seeking to win National Indoor titles in the U16 and U17 age groups. Good luck, ladies, and may all your dreams come true!
