Congratulations
to the Yellowjackets (pictured above), Team Fire, and the
Grasshoppers from the Lakes Area Youth Soccer League TOPSoccer
Program for becoming MSYSA's Soccer Spotlight Teams of
the Month for June 2006.
In only their
second season, the LAYSL TOPSoccer program registered 45
kids, ages 4-19. The players attended games every Sunday
for 8 weeks. Despite their special needs, the TOPSoccer
players are able to enjoy soccer and they learn the importance
of teamwork, friendly competition, and good sportsmanship.
This past October,
they participated in a TOPSoccer tournament for the first
time. Congratulations to all the players in the LAYSL TOPSoccer
