MSYSA Soccer Spotlight: U13 TKO Premier
Congratulations to the U13 TKO Premier team for earning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month honors for April 2007! This team is coached by Neil Ridgway and is in the middle of their first year in the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program. They went 4-2-2 in the fall, and compiled a 1-2 record in the Mead Cup and 2-1-2 record in the Alliance Cup. The team is anxiously looking forward to the spring season of league play where, among other things, they will compete in the MSYSA State Cup for the first time.

In addition to their on-field accomplishments, the boys also assisted in a club-wide effort to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the LLS Kicks for Cancer program. The club raised over $6,100 for this worthy cause, while this specific team contributed $1,445. Special mention to Spencer Birch, Ryan Howser, and Jeremy Shane who each raised at least $200. Congratulations to all on a job well done! MSYSA is very proud to have you in our program.
