MSYSA Soccer Spotlight:
U10 CSSC Shadows
Congratulations to the U10 Shadows team from the Clarkston Select Soccer Club for earning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month Honors! The girls have been together since the spring of 2006, when they became the youngest girls’ team ever put together for the club. That season they lost every one of their games, but they did not get discouraged and they worked hard to learn the game and improve their skills. Over the next couple of seasons, they showed significant improvement. Consequently, the Shadows were promoted to more competitive divisions several times – quite a long way from where they first started! The girls are known to practice and play hard, but also to have a lot of fun on and off the field. We hope they never stop having fun and always enjoy the game of soccer!
